According to the German website, apart from the free copy of Ubisoft, Ubisoft will also give both Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations on discounts thus completing the story of Ezio. The news of free Assassin’s Creed II has not been announced officially by Ubisoft at this point however it was revealed by a German discount website and spotted by Daniel Ahmad.
Following this, Ubisoft is gearing up to give Assassin’s Creed II for free in the coming days while SteamDB has revealed that Steam players will get Total War Shogun 2 for free in April as well. Ubisoft earlier announced that it will continue to give free titles to players through its Uplay platform and previously, players received Rayman Legends for free.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and everything locked down, game developers have taken the high-road and are giving free titles for people stuck at home.
